THE CHALET

This superb ski-in ski-out property with 5 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, can accommodate 14 people (12 adults maximum).

Arranged over 4 floors, (5 if you include the secret Mezanine above the bar.) This 350 m² chalet in La Turche district / Les Gets offers you optimal comfort for a stay with family or friends with its superb suite for 2 people and a dormitory for 7 children.

The chalet will satisfy lovers of luxury during the winter season, as well as vacationers looking for calm and serenity in summer. Whatever the time of year, you will enjoy the chalet’s facilities: indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and hammam.
Basement level: A studio with kitchen and bathroom, a technical room, a swimming pool, a hammam, a shower room as well as a separate toilet.
Level 0: an entrance hall with hallway giving access to a ski room, a separate toilet and a large children’s room with 6 bunk beds and a single bed, play area.
Level 1: Three en-suite double bedrooms including a master bedroom with dressing room.
Level 2: Large kitchen with island open to the dining room, pantry, dining room, living room with bar area and reading area, terrace access, mezzanine with TV area.

Meleze boasts one for the largest private pools in the area so after a hard day on the slopes why not relax in the pool and Steam room followed by a warm up in the outdoor Jacuzzi.

Location

Meleze is situated in the in the small hamlet of La Turche just above Les Gets. The chalet sits on the blue Voroses run which meanders past the chalet joining the red Melezes run for those keen skiers. These will bring you down to the Perrier lift so you can avoid all the queues in les Gets. Most mornings you will have these runs to yourself before the bustle arrives from the other towns. La Turche hosts all your needs from Après Ski, Gastronomic restaurant to ski hire. Everything is within a minutes’ walk.

“Well, I have already signed up for last year. This was the perfect holiday. 3 families came together, and we all had a blast. The children adored the Chalet, and the parents did even more. There were 7 adults and 5 children, even my 5-year-old managed to ski from the Chalet, so everything was effortless. We picked the chefs on the nights we wanted which worked out great as it gave us the opportunity to have dinner in the village some nights. “We hired both Explorer and Meleze for a joint 50th birthday weekend. This is no understatement, but it was the best ski weekend I have ever experienced, and I can also speak for my guests. The adults all stayed in one Chalet and the younger kids took the other. The Chalets are linked via the pool. This was genius, although it was sometimes a distraction enroute to either Chalet. The location was fabulous. Nice and peaceful and a walk away from the village. The facilities were fabulous and the quality of the Chalet is very high end. I have already inquired about the beds. I can’t recommend it enough. There is a discussion to return with the same group. Why wait another 10 years hey!!!”

It was great to get my lengths in every morning. So much to do here in the summer. It was lovely to hear the cows on the hill, which is usually the ski slope. I soaked up the quality family time. The area and Chalet were a huge distraction from technology not to mention character building . I will recommend staying here. Winter

With its 12 Franco-Swiss resorts and 286 ski slopes, the vast Portes du Soleil area offers as many possibilities for confirmed skiers as for beginners. You can ski from your doorstep and venture out onto slopes between the trees and soak up the breath-taking views. Les Gets is perfect for families and offers the perfect conditions for the beginner to the advanced skier. The highest point of skiing is 2400 m. The lower slopes have snow-making facilities to extend the season during warmer conditions. Even if you do not like to ski there is plenty more to do. Les gets is not just for the skiing. From spring, the resort turns into a paradise for hikers, golfers, trail runners and mountain bikers. The possibilities of activities are numerous; indoor and outdoor swimming pool, adventure park, climbing, rafting, via ferrata, stand up paddle on Lake Montriond, canyoning, fishing… The Multipass fo which we are members, will allow you to benefit from preferential rates. Les Gets has great access to towns such as Geneva, Evian & Annecy. The village celebrate the summer just as it would the winter and the lifts are open for bikes or walking.
